A collection of Malaysias top Islamic fashion designers yielded this showcase that highlighted this simple truth modesty and chicness are not counter-intuitive a timely reminder with the rise of Hijabi dressing across the world. Through clever use of layering and draping, six designers that include industry veterans, Tas Iman by Tom Abang Saufie; fan favourites Rico Rinaldi and Radzuan Radziwill; as well as one fresh graduate, Aisya Rahim, showcased their interpretation of the future of Islamic fashion. For their first big holiday commercial this year, New York department store Bergdorf Goodman teamed up with The Humane Society to make a commercial with a message. In addition to wanting you to buy the expensive shit they sell, Bergdorf wants you to adopt a dog, so as to warm your cold, miserly heart. I mean, just look at what it did for Chuck Bass.
In this uber-cute clip, a bunch of wealthy New York dogs are set loose in the store by their dog nanny to pick out presents for their owners, but one poor little stray has no owner to shop for. And also no money, I presume. Full post…
